A permanent treatment is in process, but has not been found yet. Medicine is the only route to go for treatment right now.

go on a search engine and search for herpes cure. there are some really interesting articles about a researcher who has found the link to getting rid of the virus. i think they found out that when the virus is active you can kill it, but that since it is hiding in your nerves only the active virus can be killed. So, this researcher came up with a way to trigger the entire virus to be active and then cure it with medicines like valtrex or acyciclovir. it may be quite a while until they completely figure it out, but it's definitely on the horizon! only negative is that, while triggering the huge active outbreak, you get a HUGE active outbreak everywhere you may have had the herpes. then, you cure it!

Hey I Would Suffer The Horrible Big Out Break If They Can Cure This Thing. We Suffer Everday With This And The Pharmacies Make Money On The Meds. We Need Help. Im 36yrs Old And Herpes Has Been An Epidemic Before I Was Born And That Was 1972. What Are They Waiting On? WILL A CURE BE AVAILABLE IN THIS LIFETIME?
