i wanted to know is there a possibility to get herpes on your mouth by giving someone with herpes oral sex if there not breaking out

There is a possibility but uncommon. Genital type 2 rarely goes to the mouth. Genital type 1 would more easily go to the mouth but it is usually not too active in the genitals so there is not a lot of shedding.
We read far more often of it happening the other way around, that is people with oral herpes give it to other when give oral sex.

hi michael yes you can get herpes on your lips and even inside your mouth i do have herpes 2 just inside the mouth the dr tells me that in most cases where a person has herpes inside the mouth also have hiv but i don't have hiv so i guess its rare

Yes, it's possible to give/get oral herpes or genital herpes if there are no out breaks.
