if your living with someone that have herpes ,can you still get it even that your not having sex?

You won't get it. Unless you have skin-to-skin contact with an open sore, it is like a 98% chance you won't get it. I live with 4 other girls in a small house and none of them have gotten it in the 2 years we've all lived together.
