Hi everyone
I'm 21 years old and I have a quick question.
I've been having tingling in both feet and hands for about two months. It's really annoying but doesn't stop me from my normal activities. I also experience some painless twitching in my muscles.
I've been on birth control for about 5 months...would this affect b12 levels?
also if it was a vitamin problem, would taking a b12 vitamin help?
Any thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks!

There's conflicting reports on birth control effecting B12 levels. A daily tab or sublingual should do the trick. Talk to your GYN in any case, they may want to switch you to another BC or give you a Rx B12, just to be sure you're getting enough.
PS . . . and you're B12 level should be tested to see just how low it is. "Glove and Stocking"-type neuropathy can have many different causes.
