I get nauseous a few hours after eating.
The nausea comes on quickly and continues for a few minutes, then my stomach settles and I feel better. Usually I need another meal to make me feel my best.
But then as my stomach clears of food, I may become nauseous once again.
I also have excess mucous/phlegm related to this disorder. The phlegm appears after I eat, and makes it difficult to speak for up to half an hour after eating. Then the phlegm seems to subside, only to come back up after eating.
I can deal with the phlegm. I just hate the idea of getting nauseous and sick. What's up?
I have had blood tests and other exploratory tests for the stomach, and all proved negative.

What have you had checked out so far? There's lots of possibilities. In addition to the above there are gallbladder & bile related disorders, and I'm sure quite a few others.
How about diet, have you made any changes?

No change in diet.
Doctor seems to think that it is not diabetes. Blood test shows that.
Two exploratory exams of the stomach with sonar and scans.

In case your doctor and tests do not solve your nausea issue I
suggest you look up 'EGID'. It's fairly rare but increasing in cases
reported in many countries. 'EGID' stands for eosiniphilic gastro-
intestinal disorder and has the same symptoms as GERD.
