Could someone break it down for me - a healthy diety, that gives the required calorie intake, and helps pack on healthy weight?
Breakfast: this
Lunch: this
Dinner: this
snack: this
Please exclude chicken - it just doesn't go down anymore. Oh, and something with iron as I am anemic.

Finish your meal with kiwi fruit. Do a web search for "kiwi fruit" and reflux - you'll be amazed! It works for me.
Try to work out what causes your reaction and eliminate, or reduce, that food.
However recently published research by physicians at the Stanford University School of Medicine revealed that there was little correlation between what patients ate and the incidence of heartburn. The research reveals that people with heartburn can safely eat spicy foods. The review revealed that reducing consumption of chocolate, caffeine, spicy foods, and citrus fruits doesn't stop heartburn symptoms or lower esophageal acidity.

What I eat does matter even if the research doesn't support it. Taking medications is a factor but when I don't take any then it appears to be some foods that cause the already irritation to get worse.
This is sort of what I eat-the sauces and dressings seem to aggreviate my stomach so I eat bland foods. I'm also mostly vegetarian but have to eat some dairy.
Breakfast: Oatmeal, banana , skim milk, or cream of wheat
snack: apple or applesauce or pretzels
Lunch: steamed vegies plain nothing on it, plain salad no dressing
Snack: bread plain or crackers
Dinner: soup or pasta with steamed vegies, no sauce, salad, fruit or frozen yougurt
now that I type it, it looks pretty boring.

hello all
i've never been much of a fruit eater but i've started eating oranges, bananas, fresh and frozen veggies, and my lpr is better! i can't eat cheese or creamy milky sauces i drown in mucous and feel sick the next a.m. maybe it is different for everyone, what triggers acid. i will try kiwi fruit!
