My wife and I have been searching for ways to up the count a bit. Anyone have any ideas other than boxers, zinc, no caffeine, no tobacco, no alcohol? We've tried all those and things fluctuate more than I would ever imagine. We go from 7 mill, to zero, to 20 mill, back to 7 mill. I've read a little on here about progesterone and clomid but I haven't found any information on the net about those in reference to males. Any suggestions or success stories would be helpful. Thanks!

There are very few sites that talk about clomid use in men. My Dh is on it to increase his counts, though he honestly has great counts just bad numbers with other things on his SAs. I would prefer he not be on it because of the side effects I have read about when it comes to men using it. The big one is that it can shut down sperm production totally. It has about a 20% success rate which to me isnt that great.
A good multi-vitamin can be helpful. Making sure you have release at least twice a week helps also. I know sounds strange. By release I mean ejaculation it can either be through masturbating or sex it doesnt really matter on how it occurs.
Vitamin C-1000 & Vit E 1000, I would mention the zinc but you are already taking that. 1 l_arginine 500 mg daily is another thing to look into.

A friend's husband had some low sperm count issues and his dr recommended proxeed. Apparently, it is supposed to optimize sperm motility, speed, count and concentration. My understanding is that it is only available for purchase online and it is kind of spendy. My friend's dh was up to full count within the 3 months, but I can't say that it was due to the proxeed. He also had a varicele issue that was remedied through surgery. Hope this helps.
