Good morning!

I just started my first and hopefully last IVF cycle. I am on bcps, will start Lupron probably November 13, gonalF about 12 days after, then looking at retrieval/transfer around the first weekend in December. Is anyone else in a similar timeframe?

I just started my BCP's this morning. This will be my first (and hopfully) only IVF cycle. I can't beleive how stressful this process is. I find myself not able to sleep at night worrying about it. I'm mostly scared I won't be able to handle part of the process like the shots, retrieval, or finding out that it was unsuccessful. Do you ever finally just become resigned to it?

I'll be starting an IVF cycle as well. I thought I would have a little more time to decide, but AF came a little early this month! So will be starting bcps tomorrow. Went through three unsuccessful IUI's and am hoping that this finally works!

I did go through 1 IUI, but since I am 39 my doctor wanted to get aggressive...I am so confused by all the medications that it seems crazy, and I had no idea that starting bcps NOW meant almost 6 weeks to the retrieval! This really has a much better chance than IUI, according to everything I have read. I hope we are all successful!

I hope we're all successful too! it's a lot to go through. I'm afraid of what the increase in meds are going to do to my emotions - my doctor is tripling my gonal f dosage!
