I have started on Azilect Dec 1. No side effects just adhering to the strict food restrictions. Tremors seem a little milder.
Maybe can lower the Sinemet a bit. Hoping for the best. Happy and HEALTHY holidays to all you courageous readers!

Thanks for the encouraging post. My spouse started it a week ago, & had been taking Sinemet for only 1 week before that & now takes both. We got his diagnosis on Jan 26. Still trying to get our bearings.
As far as Azilect, I have a link to an article which describes a trial which claims there is now "proof" that Azilect slows the progression of Parkinson's.
I am not trying to give false hope, in fact the doctor here did not give it much credence but I think he wants us to accept the diagnosis. Naturally in the early stages of understanding it I am looking for anything for some hope and tips about how to get help. We are going to have to change a lot about the way we live.
