How much water is too much water? I drink a LOT of water everyday. I dont drink anything else. I drink juice maybe once every other day (1 cup). Thats it. This morning I drank a 9 oz bottle of water and I am now on my second bottle which is 12 oz. I will probably have a couple more bottles today. I also pee constantly so I guess Im cleaning out my kidneys but still I dont know how much water is too much!

If you pee more than once every two hours, then you may be consuming too much water.

Check the color of your urine. Your pee should be pale yellow. If there's no color, you might have been drinking too much water.

One tip I heard on a health show: Drink four ounces of water at a time because your body can only absorb so much in a given period of time. I use a 4 oz juice glass for drinking water at home. You might try drinking a 4 oz glass of water every half hour or when you feel thirsty. Then check the color.

Also, be aware of foods that act as diuretics. Food items like watermellon and tea could cause you to urinate often.

Older men who have enlarged prostates tend to urninate more often too.
