dear doctor today i got really buzzy right ear and then i noticed a pulling sensation from ear to throat that was causing me to have trouble swallowing i would swallow then swallow again to try to get rid of this feeling i was having trouble drinking and eating because of this and my ears felt pressured and were ringing i do suffer eusachian tube dysfunction but there were no clouds around but was a low pressure heading our way. Is this normal for your ears to make you have trouble swallowing
it felt like i was up on a range or something
after i took a sedative to sleep the feeling died down
thank you

Hi I have had what you are explaining for 4 months now. I am going to see nose, throat and ear doctor monday. Mine started with this tightning in my throat just like someone is strangling me. It doesnt really hurt it just feels really tight as if the throat is closing up and I feel preasure up to my ears. My doctor first said it was allergies and then thought maybe it was acid reflux which I knew it wasn't and I was right so now my only hope is the NT&E doc. And boy I hope he knows what is wrong because I am really tired of feeling like this
