I am having a problem with highways... big open roads.... all started after the labrythitis.... anyone having similar problems.,,,? Emsybobs 01-21-2003, 01:39 PM Has your L'itis now gone? How long have you had it? I dont find driving a problem really as if I'm sitting I'm generally OK. Although when my symptoms are at their worst, turning my head whilst driving isnt great. michelebruce 03-11-2003, 01:57 AM I too have horrible problems when driving. No one so far seems to have answers on coping.Have you discovered anything recently? dizzyman 03-13-2003, 12:09 AM Hoo-boy! Is driving a problem wih me! I'm a truck driver and had my first attack while driving! I had no idea what was going on - I thought I was having a heart attack or something and almost lost control. I can get around town in my car, but I have to pay very close attention on turns - I tend not to be turning as wide as I think I am. I also find myself driving alot slower than I am used to. I caught myself going 25 in a 35 with a huge line of cars behind me - oops! Mica09 03-14-2003, 09:52 AM I didn't have any problems with driving, but in November I went to the emergency because I needed a new doctor (just moved to this area), and the doctor told me not to drive and inserted a note in my file. She told me that if I didn't promise her, that she would call the ministry of transportation and have my license revoked. hbep 03-14-2003, 11:55 AM Hey MPaeiment, That's harsh. My sister has 4 children and I know how much she relies on her car. Has it made things difficult? Mica09 03-17-2003, 03:15 PM Not too bad. I just moved in a small town and I'm walking distance to the stores. But I hate depending on the others if I need to go grocery shopping or need to go further away. If things don't get better I think I'll start driving anyways, but won't drive long distances. NoodyPooh 03-28-2003, 06:45 PM I just recently started driving again...Hadnt driven since Sept. and its now the end of March...So far, so good, but take it slow. Emsybobs 03-28-2003, 07:31 PM Thats harsh Mpaiement. Weird as I feel fine in a car, its about the only place I do feel fine! I only feel odd if I am in a car with someone who drives quickly round corners. xxx |
