How healthy are these to consume on a regular basis? Do they also cause kidney stones?

Ensure is good as a meal replacement for people who can't eat enough due to lack of appetite, dental problems, digestive problems, etc.
They don't have much fiber, and they aren't, after all, real food, but for something that comes in a can they're reasonably healthy.
Kidney stones? Make sure the particular shake you are buying isn't too high in salt, for one thing.

Thanks for the advice. What percentage would be considered too high in sodium? It seems everything has a bit. I try to drink half a gallon a day, but not always successful - though I know that juices for example can be supplemented as a glass of water too. So, what would be a normal daily sodium intake?
