Just wondering has anyone ever bit there tongue severely
having any other seizure than a grand mal? I live alone and
woke up the other morning with my tongue severely bitten,I usually
don't have a GM,just sometimes.All the other times I had a GM,my
tongue would heal itself within 24 hours, this time it has been 9 days
since and still a little sore.Anyone else ever experience this?I also was
sooooooo disorientated for about 48 hours, cannot recall what I may
have said to anyone, that bothers me,cause I think I might have talked
too much personal business and still crying over that.
Also lost control of bladder(so embarrassing)NEVER have done that before.
Please any info. will be so much appreciated.

hi sherri,
sounds like you have had an GM for sure, my forte have you tried gargling with salt water and sucking on the good old "lemon and glycerine" swabs i generally never have one out of my mouth when i've been biting my tongue, ste

and by the way don't worry about what you may or may not have said it only matters if you let it matter, same with worrying about what people think about your epilepsy the more you worry the more problems that you will have. best wishes

Yes,I have used the salt water, but, never heard of using the lemon
glycerine swabs, where would you find them in the store, next to
herbs? Thanks for any info. you can send my way.

Yes I know, I do need to stop worrying myself to death about other
people.I have had epilepsy for 42 years and just had surgery for the
left temporal lobe,I don't have nowhere near the amount of seizures
as I use to,but, boy if that was not the worst I have ever had, really
sad being that it was after surgery.
