In 2001 I was diagnoised with a carotid artery dysection
behind left ear drum to close to brain to operate ,I was
put on cholestoerol an blood pressure meds which I still
take ,but the awful pounding in that side of neck an head
still persist ,Is it possible to get new diagnoisis ,I feel its
worsend and I want to prevent a stroke.. I am 74 yrs old
my Dr. wants me to take klonopin an live with it.

What is that pounding like? Since it was behind the ear drum did you have tinnitus? I have been living with a pounding noise ***as if someone is pounding on my eardrum for the past two years. It is horrible.
