I lost my butt when I lost weight.

I feel better being lighter, but my butt is practically gone :( and it has loose skin as well...what can I do to get it back--what exercises are great butt builders?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks so much,
Salty

My favorite is this one: I get down on hands and knees, then stick one foot up in the air, thigh level with back, knee bent about 90 degrees. I then pulse my foot up and down. I try for 3 sets of 20, or until the muscle burns.

Or, you can just climb stairs a lot.

The stairmaster is great! Also, do lunges and squats...both killer for the booty!

Probably the best exercise for every leg and hip muscle at once is rough terrain hiking, over rocks and hills and all.

Wear good shoes with ankle support.

Thank you so much for writing. I haven't been feeling well and haven't even turned on the computer until now. Hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling better and can respond.

I appreciate your posts.

I do the exercise janewhite mentioned and it is my FAVORITE. Works way better than squats! I do plenty of these throughout the day and it really lifts your butt and makes it rounder. I felt like my butt was getting a little bit flatter so I increased this exercise and am happy with the results. I also get a good backside from using the elliptical machine.
