are they large?
i got these and was so embarrased by them, but i was forced at one point to go to the derm. dr and take care of them because one got in just the wrong spot and got way too big... they had to lance that one and drain it.... i asked them repeatedly if it was from being overweight and they told me it wasnt.... my friend got them too and she said it was from being overweight which is why i asked... the dr said it wasnt from being overweight and that some people get them and some people dont... kind of sounded like when some people get cold sores and others dont.... anyway she gave me cream and i havent had any that have gotten bad since then... they are painful though, and about dime size for the smallest ones, and they leave horrible marks when they are gone that take years to fade....
hope that helps....

Do your legs rub together often?
If so, then I do believe these are Sweat Bumps.
It's normal, it happens when you sweat down there.

That sounds like what I get in the inside crease of my leg. I get what I call a "kernel" come up under the skin and is extremely sore. It takes months to work it way up where it forms a pimple that is extremely sore and even after I pop it or it ruptures on it's own, it still lets me know it is there. One lasts me a good 4 to 6 months from start to finish..
I was telling a friend about it just several days ago and she said she had them too and how she got rid of them is with alcohol, she starts cleaning the area as soon as she feels it starting and she swears it helps. Her thinking is that it is caused by bacteria on her skin and she uses the alcohol to get rid of the bacteria. She might have something in that thinking.. Why not try cleaning that area several times a day with alcohol and see if it works?

Sometimes it's a sign of a low immune system.
One of my friends would get a boil ever so often. She would pretty much have to constantly deal with one finally going away and then another one reappearing.
She started working out everyday and changed her eating habits and she hasn't had one since.
I know your reason could be different, but this is just one reason I know of.
I do know that the way a persons body functions is all about how the body is taken care of. (for the most part, from my own experience)
