My 89 year old mother has received her first Procrit Injection and will get one every week for 8 weeks assuming she needs one, She has been anemic but after taking iron pills it is up to 10. She has an enlarged heart, with leaking valve and a murmer, will this Procrit injection be safe for her to continue? After reading the side affects on the internet, i wonder if she should leave well enough alone?
