I have had ear problems for the past two years. No doctor can seem to help me. They act like my ears are perfect when I know they are not. I have this terrible
pressure in both ears. It feels like they are full of fluid. The other night I woke up at 2 in the morning and I actually had clear fluid coming out of both ears. I get really lightheaded and dizzy a couple of times a week. I have this very bad feeling like I'm in the clouds. It's like I'm not me, I just feel funny. I have that feeling 24/7. I hate it. I went last week and got tested for allergies and I'm not allergic to anything. I have been going to the Dr and they just keep telling me it should get better. Sometimes when I go out like to a restaurant or anywhere where it gets loud every noise seems to mix and get really loud it makes me sick to my stomach. I went back to the ENT the other day and all he did was look in my ear and say they are clear. I told him about all the pressure and fluid coming out. All he said was yawn and take ibuprofen. I can't take this feeling anymore. Can someone please help me?

Hello Wetears,

Have you been tested for eustachian tube dysfunction - have you had a tympanogram or, even better, further, more advanced ear pressure tests. These will show whether there is fluid in your eustachian tubes which is one of the things that can cause this feeling of fullness and light headedness.

If that has been done and there is genuinely no sign of fluid, then look at my post entitled 'ear fullness/pressure/pain, tinnitus, dizziness, my diagnosis.' It could also provide some answers.

All my ENT said was that were was some negative pressure in my left ear.
