Have been reading all the messages and like most, I suffer from the "dizzies". Have had it for over 5 years and been through all the tests, diagnosed with everything from meniers to epilepsy and now just try very hard to live with it. I also get very down when it all starts up, usually preceded by a cold or sinus infection or for no reason I can think of except stress. Recently I started Body Balance classes which involves pilates, balance, tai chi and finishes with yoga relaxation. After years of not doing much exercise due to the dizzies I have found this to not only help my body but it has also helped my head!! The only thing I can't do is watch my hands in the tai chi class as they move around. It really send me off! But the rest of it, particuarly focusing on balance and allowing my body to relax at the same time has given me a lot of confidence. Has anyone else tried these classes and if so what effect have they had, if any. Good luck to you all out there in "DizzyLand"
