Hi Brina - you poor thing - it is such an absolute pest huh. I too found that getting tests etc took a long time...........

So I went private - the ENT consultant cost £60 - worth every penny he was very reasuuring. The MRI scan (to rule out the very rare chance of a serious problem within the actual brain) cost £250 + £50 for the magnetic resonance dye. By the way do not panic about a serious disorder, apparently there is less than a 0.5% chance.Another thing to comfort yourself with is that if its a brain problem you will normally always have other nuerological symptoms. Whish your GP can pick up when examining you. I am not sure of your financial position - but take action if you can or chase your GP to refer you for peace of mind.

Good Luck - I hope that you are having a better day!!!!
