Trying to get some help.
My ears feel full and I pop them all the time. I don't think there is anyway I can have an infection. I do think I have tension headaches and bruxism. One doctor told me my eustachian tube is retracted.
Any ideas of what is causing it?

Thanks

Hi Texas,

I have had problems with my ears crackling and popping for the past 9 months, but it is due to viral labyrinthitis. Although my scans came up clear and there doesn't appear to be any fluid trapped in them, I think somehow they are blocked. I have had a rough time with anxiety and stress due to all of this but am doing much better now and am noticing a difference in my ear popping...elevations don't seem to bother me as much as they did before. If it really bothers you then I would try and get a refferal to an audiologist so he can do ear pressure tests. You may have fluid in your ears that could be causing some eustachian tube dysfunction. GOOD LUCK -Gwen
