Anyone else get bad headaches and jaw aches when you try to stretch or exercise?

I just took up Tai Chi, which I just did for a few minutes break while at work. I also did some ergo exercises for my neck. Now I have tingling in my jaw, followed by a sore point on my jaw. I feel dizzy. And it feels like my head is split in half diagonally and sliding along the split. Ouch! Visual snow just got worse too. :(

Oh yeah, my front tooth feels like it is twisting around too.

I had the weird tooth pain before and told my regular dentist, and he just looked at me like I was a nut and double-checked stuff, and said nothing is wrong with that tooth. Referred pain maybe?

I had the twisting sensation on my upper left canine - so I know what you are talking about. From a neuromuscular viewpoint - teeth send signals to the brain and something has occurred in your bite that is telling your brain "this tooth need to turn or rotate" to maintain your bite and equilibrium. Sounds strange, right? did you recently have any dental work done to your back teeth? my strange sensation started after I had a cavity filled on an upper central molar only the side of the tooth broke off while the dentist was drilling so he rebuilt it using composite and it felt a bit low afterwards. Plus the dentist then also replaced the crown on the upper left canine and it never felt right either - and within a few months I started to get the twisting sensation. My twisting sensation ( I got the cockeyed look too when I mentioned it to my former dentist) eventually turned into a full fledged facial spasm one night - so ask him to check your bite overall - it could be the issue is not with the front tooth but somewhere else.

Hm, I did have a root canal recently, which wreaked havoc on me. But I remember telling the dentist that my teeth felt like they were twisting when I first went in for the emergency appt.

The tooth or teeth that feel this way are on the open side of my bite, so maybe that is why I feel it there.

I was poking around my joint on the right side tonight, and got a sharp stabbing pain in my front tooth on the same side (not on the open bite side, but on the right side where I was poking around my jaw). I felt the same pain when I got my teeth cleaned, and the dentist and hygenist both said nothing was wrong with that tooth. Must be a very strange referred pain thing.
