why osteoporosis causes pain

Hi, I'm not sure what you're asking here. Osteoporosis generally doesn't cause pain, unless you've fractured something that is. Bear in mind that not everyone will fractue a bone just because they've been told they "have osteoporosis".

Some of the medications for osteoporosis causes bone pain. I also wonder if osteoporosis causes pain when the bones get extremely thin and can't support the weight of the body. I think there's more reasons than just from fractures. I would ask your doctor.
