Hi,
I'm 2 1/2 weeks past my Keller Bunionectomy and my blood pressure readings during the foot checkups have been higher than normal, in the 150/80 range rather than my usual 115/60. Has anyone else had blood pressure spikes caused by Nabumetone? I have to take this anti-inflammatory for 4 weeks, and am wondering if it's contributing to the BP rise.
I'm getting in touch with my GP as soon as my surgeon's office sends the BP readings to him.

Nambutone is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory agent. These agents can cause sodium and water retention, which leads to hypertension. I also took Nambutone after my foot surgery, but I was not measuring my blood pressure at the time. I found it worked less and less the more I took it. NSAIDS can also cause cardiovasular problems if taken long term. It is good you are
