The most reward for me is real early before breakfast, it leaves you feeling really set up for the day - and apparantly it is the best time to burn fat - however there seems to be various opinions on this, and I too would be interested to hear anyone else's views about it. regards

Best time to run is when you can get useful work out of it.
Run to work. Run to the gym. Run to the store. Run with the dog. etc.

I think the best time to run is whenever you'll be consistent at doing it. Whether that time is in AM or PM...as long as you stay consisent with it. Of course, that's only if you actually LIKE to run...LOL If not, then I would find some other activity that you like doing, and pick a time of day that you can devote some quality time in it.

I think it depends on you and when you're feeling your best and most energized.
Some people run in the early AM because it's refreshing and they like to get their day started by exercising. I heard it also helps build metabolism as well. Some run during the afternoon or evening because they feel more relaxed and more energized then.
I can usually run at any time, except early morning.
