Can anyone explain why if you have been a good sleeper
within 10 minutes of going to bed your asleep and sleep through the night
and then you start exercising 40 for minutes a night usually around 6-pm
you cant sleep properly anymore, I thought you would sleep better?

I know exercising energizes you but if your going to bed at 10-pm
is this having a negative effect.

Thanks :)

excersising releases endorphins which are basically pain killers/feel goods...so this makes sense why you cant sleep...perhaps try excersising earlier or when you wake up....or you can just do what i do and excersise when your like super tired and all you wanna do is crash...i did that last night and i was out!

I'd also try a new workout time. Some people can work out before bed just fine, and other people wake up from the exercise (even if there are a few hours in between). Since it helps you wake up, you may benefit from morning exercise anyway to keep you energized throughout the day.
