So over the course of 1 and a half months, I took I took a lot of NSAIDs (naxopren and ibuprofen), about 3/week. About a week or two ago I felt a dull pain in my stomach and so I reduced the amount of aleve I was taking to 1/week knowing that it could cause digestive problems. The last one I took was three days ago but now my stomach has been hurting since yesterday morning.
It is a light burning and sometimes stabbing pain that is worst after eating, I don't know how else to describe it....it isn't severe pain but I'm worried I've permanently damaged myself. I'm otherwise quite healthy, I get 5 servings of fruit and veg/day, run every other day, drink lots of water....
Will this go away? What's wrong with me? Should I take tums? I'm not particularly gassy, but if it's indigestion will it go away and not come back if I stay away from NSAIDs?

You probably have gastritis ( inflamed stomach ), caused by the nsaids. Some people, myself included, just can't take nsaids as they irritate the lining of the stomach. I think you need to see your Doctor to get a proper diagnosis and a prescription. I take nexium which stops the pain. Normally, the Doc will put you on double dose for 2 months to heal the stomach, you may or may not need to keep taking them at a lower dose. All the best.
