For it to be gall bladder could it be just your lower back and sharp pains on your sides under your rib cage? Does everyone have pain for gall bladder just on there upper back?

I never had that pain. I only had teh RUQ pain just benath the ribcage and nausea. A friend only had maasive nausea - kept thinking she had the stomach flu but it never went away. Eventually went to ER and they ran and u/s and found the stones. So not everyone has all the usual symptoms.

I just posted my story on the board about what I experienced with my GB.

I had pain under the breast bone, upper abdomen, intense pain in the back between my shoulder blades and nausea. It felt like someone was stabbing my in my back.

I had horrible pain in the upper abdomen, just under my ribcage - felt like I was having a heart attack.
