I have been experiencing a decent recovery lately. I couple weeks ago, I felt normal. MAN!! Was that ever awesome. I went out with some friends and my fiancee and sat in a beer garden and played cards on a warm summer night and felt human again. Since then, minor symptoms creep in and out, but overall, I seem to be getting better. I feel a litle uncertain in the mornings.

One question I have, does anyone feel a little heavier or sluggish on their affected side? Alos, is it common for a vestibular problem to cause tinnutis and TMJ and tingling in a hand?

I've got to say, one thing that has been absolutely necessary for me was clarity. By finding this board and the people on it, I've been able to reduce my anxiety caused by uncertainty. Even though I can't go see a specialist, I can take hear knowing there are others out there with similar problems. And that helps me stop worrying about brain tumors, strokes and other hysterical responses.

Thank you all for just being here and repsonding to my few posts. It's helped immensely

......"overall, I seem to be getting better.".....

Good---most people do--just takes each---a different length of time--is all.

No never felt heavier/sluggish on my right side(affected side)---and had no tingling in hand or TMJ---but did have tingling behind right ear and down the neck---periodically---as for tinnitus---I had that before this came about---and this site sort of covers it and relationship to inner ear problems:

Hi Digizen

No, I never felt sluggish on my affected side or anything. I had tinnitus and tmjd before the onset of the dizzies. I think my tinnitus is worse but then I could just be focusing on it more.

Good to hear you are feeling better!! I like hearing positive messages.

Recovery is such a forward and backwards process, but it sure feels good during the forward phases.

Hi - yep I get the luggish feeling on my affected side - I was worried at first but the doc siad thats normal. yep - tinnitus runs with this thing too - not every-one gets it but many do - it can be a sign of increased fluid levels as well as hearing damage - annoying but not serious. Agree with all your comments!! Hope ya still doing great
