Hey everyone. Hope you are all hanging in there and having a good day. I posted something like this in the dental problems board...I have been expereincing the whole gammet of inner ear problems - woozy feeling, ear fullness, popping of the ears, ect.for 10 months now. Neuro and ENT both say I'm normal...don't feel normal! Anyways I went to the dentist due to some jaw neck pain and he told me I needed to get my wisdom teeth out...he said one of them was in my sinus! He pulled all four 4 days ago and I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this experience and then found that there dizzies got better. I know it may be wishful thinking but I'll take anything..u all know the feeling.
Thanks again.

All four at once? You need a better name than Ponyboy! lol. I did two first and then later on the other two. That was many years ago. As far as this helping with the dizzies, who knows? Sometimes I wonder if my problem didn't start with having let a bad tooth go for a long time and waiting until the pain was unbearable that forced me to go to the dentist. He filled it, never gave me any antibiotics, although I have read that he should have done this because if there was any infection left over. About 5 months later, experienced alot of pain in that same tooth and decided to just have it pulled, it was a molar on the back top right side. To be honest, I really didn't notice a significant decrease with my balance disorder, but it didn't make it any worse. The recovery process is very very slow, as per Jens
regime, I now chart everyday on a percentage scale as to how I am feeling.
Anyway, who knows maybe this will help you by having your wisdome teeth removed. If your insurance covers this I might suggest some physical therapy, because pulling teeth can be somewhat intrusive where all the facial nerves, muscles etc. are involved. Some cranial osteopath might be beneficial. Besides it is incredibly relaxing.
all the best,
Kathy

Hey Anastasia. Well, the first day I was morphed on pain killers but oddly I felt very little in the sense of the dizzies...yesterday i had a bout with the dizzies but today was fairly good...if it is the wisdom teeth i think I'm gonna need some time...i'm keeping my fingers crossed...thanks for the reply and good luck with the bad boys...you'll be fine!

After 6 weeks of dizziness/fogginess and 2 grand in Doctor visits I decided to go to a dentist to see if my teeth were causing me trouble. I knew i had one bad tooth, it looks bad but dosnt hurt. He took some X-rays and told me I had an impacted wisdom tooth. I am waiting for the results of a thyroid test before I go any further but I plan on having my teeth taken care of soon. I would really like to know it it turns out for you because I came up with this idea for my problems and so far I have been the better doctor and by far the cheapist.
Please keep us up to date. You never know, you might just help a lota people out, or it could just be wishfull thinking.
Thank You
Which wisdom teeth were causing the problem?
I have some that need pullnig, I know and I have the same symptoms.
