Hi I am new here and I have ocd and depression and high anxiety. I have intrusive thoughts that I can't get out my head. they put me on an anxiety med so that helps. i would like to talk with other people with this disorder.

Mine are all based around my BF and asking him questions ALL the time about girls from the past and even girls that might crop up in the future! I asked him a question today and his reply was:
"If I don't fancy anyone at work, I don't ... get it through your thick head... write on your forum today because I DO NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH FOR THIS!!!!
You always have to end a conversion EVERYDAY with some sort of shit... its like talking to you can just never be fun anymore!"
I should point out that he has a cold at the moment and is usually understanding and trys to help (obviously sometimes he gets frustrated but I can see why!) He's been dealing with it for a yr now!
I HATE the way I make him feel!! I want to stop worrying all the time about girls and threats of girls.
Does anyone else have this?! Pleaes reply...
I used to worry about kids too - apparently its common in OCD sufferers. I now do not worry at all about that tho and its moved to my BF ALL the time!
What was hypnosis like? Did it help? Thanks

Hi Kelly, I'm new too. I suffer from similar things that you suffer from. Honestly, it's hard for me to talk about these things because I don't like feeling vulnerable. But I'm here.

Hi
Don't feel like you can't talk to anyone. talking is actually a good thing. it feels good that you know that you are not alone.

RE: Kelly, I have suffered from anxiety, and depression for seven years with three major depressive episodes. I was diagnosed with post depression and ocd after i gave birth but it decreased after a about a year. 3 yrs later it is the worst it's been with intrusive thoughts literally making physically sick to my stomache and feel anxious, scared and ashamed. By the way i am new here too. I hope that gave you some comfort that you are not alone even though it feels like it and I feel like it too. Thanks for giving me comfort that there are other people out there and now I know it too. It truly is a disease. It's just timely to find the right medication.
