I have been out of work for a year now due to disc problems in my neck and lower back. I applied for SSD last Oct. (haven't heard anything yet). With every thing I am reading it could take years. Problem is I can no longer efford to go to Dr. or pay for Rx. Am I allowed to do any kind of work (if I can find some) while I wait for SSD to go through, if it ever does?
