i don't have any advice for you re screw removal, but i do have a question for you. What was the history that lead to your having the fusion? I have a non-union fracture of the navicular. I had ORIF with two screws last feb. I am now waiting to see a specialist who visits my city 3 times a year.

hi..
i had an accident in 1999 i had xrays the lot.. they said nothin was wrong with it just badly sprained, for years i had trouble with it an eventually i had another xray in 2005 an i was told it showed an old break. they dug my xrays out from 1999 an showed a break ! the navicular bone which i had broke had disintigrated and the bone either side of the broken bone was rubbin together.. i have been told that with out a doubt i have got arthritus in my foot which could also be the cause of the pain.. i was in plaster for 4 months

I was NWB for 5 months, so i know what you are talking about. How is the mobility in your foot?
