hi, i first realized that i had hpv at about age 13. im guessing puberty set it off. i have read in many places that the body will usually clear the virus by itself, but i am now 18 and it hasn't gone yet. can you help me please? have you any idea of which type i may have and what are the risks of spreading it, and what it may cause if i spread it to a girl???

Puberty does not set off HPV. It's a virus that you have to catch from someone else. What exactly makes you think you have HPV? If you've had whatever you have for 5 years, I'm thinking it's not HPV.
