They should be giving you a strainer to pee into while you have the stone, so you can catch it. From there depending on what kind of stone it is, as there are many kinds, caused by various things, the doctor can recomend either medication to prevent, or soemtimes just lifestyle changes are needed such as drinking WAY more water, and cutting out caffeine.
