When I try to go to sleep at night, the left side of my face will try & go numb. Especially if I lay on my left side. It does it a little when I am on my right side but not as much. Why is it doing this?

Well, I went to the doctor last week & he sent me for a Ultra Sound yesterday(Monday). On my neck. Anyway he called me last night & said they did find a blockage in my carotid artery. Now I am waiting to hear back from him as to when I go & see another doctor.
