How soon can I soak my feet after stitches are removed? They have been out approximately a week and a half. The incisions still feel like they are on fire....

Just to be safe,I would call your doctor first before you soak your feet.

not until the incision is completely healed. otherwise it opens you up for infection.

once the skin is healed over, you can soak them. If it looks like there is any part of the incision that could break back open, I would hold off.

I was allowed to bathe and soak my foot as soon as the bandages were removed, 12 days after op., but this is a question you should ask your doc, not people on the internet.

I just had 20+ stitches removed this morning. They were replaced with steri strips and I was told if the strips hadn't fallen off in 5 days, I could peel them off. No baths or soaking until steri strips come off, so I guess it depends on your Doc.
