After pain in my right leg I notice that I had a bulge at the top of my thigh near my groin. The thigh bulge is about 10cm x4cm. My doctor thought it was just a lipoma and arrange an ultrasound The ultrasound was inconclusive. The bulge disapears when I lie down it is not painful but it did hurt when I first noticed it. Probably unrelated I currently have pain in my right calf. Should I get my dr to maybe arrange a MRI?

Possibly a hernia? The groin is a common place for them,I know they disappear when you lie down.

Thanks for posting but my doctor said it wasn't a hernia and I think a ultrasound would show if it was a hernia.
