Okay...so I may be posting in the wrong area, but I have NO idea where to post this???
I will start from the beginning...March 2008.
In March of 2008, I got the Depo shot. I never got another shot after that because my insurance ran out. I didn't have a period from March until December 1st. I started my first period in 9 months on December 1st, 2008. It was 8 days long. Ten days later I started again. It was much lighter this time. This one lasted 7 days. Two days later, I started AGAIN!!! It was more of a "spotting" this time. It went on for a week and was sometimes a pink color and sometimes a brownish color. I haven't had a period since. I started to feel sick on 1/8/09. On 1/11/09, I started to feel really bloated and crampy. I went to the bathroom because my stomach was really weird. I couldn't stand up straight. I could only hunch over to bare the pain. When I lifted my shirt and looked in the mirror, the upper part of my abdomen was buldged out like a big softball and my pelvic area was sunken in. It was the weirdest thing I have ever seen. It hurt so bad that I was completely hunched over and it was hard to breathe at times. This has happened on and off ever since.
In the past month or so, three people have told me that they had dreams that I was pregnant. My best friend called and asked if I had any big news for her. My dad's ex-girlfriend that lives in a completely different state said that she had a dream that I was pregnant and my husband's friend's wife had a dream too. A few days later I had a dream that I was pregnant and getting pictures taken. It was really weird. I took a HPT on 1/12/09 and it came back negative. I have a 16 month old son already and I don't have the same symptoms I did when I was pregnant with him, which was in January '07. I had "flu-like" symptoms when I found out I was pregnant with him. I have no idea what is going on and I would just like to feel better.
Someone PLEASE help!!!
P.S. I put up a post a few days ago on another forum and received NO answer...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some advice or something.

maybe it was too soon to take an HPT. Try again.

Do you think that it is too soon to re-test? It has been 8 days now...Should I wait a couple more weeks or am I safe to go buy another HPT tonight on my way home from work? I just don't want to keep spending money on these things if it is too early to find out...ahhhhh.

If it were me, I'd probably wait until it'd been about 14 days since my last test, and test again. I suppose you could be pregnant, the crampiness can be a symptom, but it can also just be that your cycle is totally out of whack now, thanks to the depo shot (I've heard MANY women complain that their cycles were completely off track for quite awhile after having the shot). If the pain continues, I would definitely see a doctor though--you shouldn't be having that much pain, whether or not your pregnant...

I definitely agree that the intense pain isn't normal. I would test again, and go see your doctor as soon as possible whether the test is negative or positive.

Instead of having to pay for the tests there should be free clinics that would give you a free pregnancy tests. Best of luck!

Thank you to everyone who replied. I really do appreciate it. I'm thinking it's not pregnancy. It's something I should see a doctor for, but unfortunately I will have to wait and see if it goes away. My pain isn't nearly as bad as it was that one night. It is just mild cramping every once in a while. I bought a HPT with 3 in it last night. I figured that way I could test, then if it's too early...I still have two left. I tested last night (which I know you should test first thing in the morning, but I couldn't wait...it was driving me nuts!!!) It was negative. It was at about midnight. I will also take everyones advice and wait until 14 days have gone by...like I said before I was so anxious to see what the test said. I will let everyone know what the next test says...

I just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow would have been my 14th day (to take my HPT). AF came for a visit this morning so I'm not going to waste my time with the HPT. BFN for sure! Thanks for everyones help. Although, now that I know I'm not pregnant...I really wonder why my stomach did that? lol
