if I even use my left arm to type, hold a remote, or even just rest my head on it it has this weird numb anoying feeling, why.

you might be holding it in one position for a while or its nerves are being pinched...it is not a big deal but if it is numb all the time see a chiropractor

See your primary care and request an MRI of your neck--this will show if you have a bulging disk in your neck that is pressing down on the spinal cord. Treatment is typically physcial therapy.
