We are all pretty much saying the same thing....thank goodness I have found other people who suffer from the same symptoms! My dizziness started last February, kind of out of the blue. I had a few episodes over the course of a few weeks with a feeling of blocked ear ....actually called the emt's one morning I was so scared.......and then went to see my family physician. He diagnosed it as Vestibular Labyrinthitis....said I had some fluid in my ear. He gave me some antibiotic which I took and it did finally improve......only to return again in late spring. Went to the doctor's again.....got another dose of antibiotic.....it got better and I had quite a few trouble-free weeks. At one point I actually thought it was gone forever. Then, a week or so ago.....back again but this time with occassional sinus headaches, crackling ears and slight nausea. I am at my wits end. I am so scared that there is something seriously wrong with me and yet, reading all these posts, my symptoms seem to follow those of most everyone else here....although I have a history of sinus trouble dating back to my childhood, but oddly enough, I never really had an ear infection!!
I just wanted to thank all of you for sharing your experience with this scary and very annoying disorder. It has been a comfort to be able to read all of your posts.
