Jen,
Tried to get you the info on Cocculus Compositum but moderators said it was a no, no. If you just do a search on the stuff, there are many distributors for this. My recommendation would be to buy from someone who just doesn't pack the stuff in any old health food store. How have you been doing? Going through a bit of a rough patch right now and getting a little nervous about starting my new job Thursday. I hope I hit a good patch by then. Soooo sick of this, as we all are.
Take care,
Kathy

Kathy, I must have been posting at the same time you were... I'm sorry you are going through a rough patch. It won't last long.
You're starting back up to work soon.... I feel you will begin to feel more normal after a week of two of being there. That's what happened to me. It's good to get back out there and do normal things. Even though I'm not 100% yet- I do feel good about doing normal things again.
Take care friend.

Hi Kathy
I managed to get the Nutrition Dynamics website off the board before the moderator got to it! Thank you.
I am still having a good patch, it must be close to 3 weeks now. This is the 2nd time I've had a long good patch like this. I feel so much better too because my headaches have been mild. I know this is the Amitriptylene so I'm grateful for that.
Navelis, congrats on the baby! My husband and I want to start a family but so far it's not happening (ok, there's another of my secrets out!)

Hey Jen!
Glad you are starting to feel better! I spoke to my doctor and he prescribed me some amytripiline so I have been taking 5mg a night.. small dose huh but I think I must be super senstive cos I wake up in the morning really tired.. how long before you really felt a benefit... I have the VRS on Tuesday so I have to be off all meds by Saturday evening. I can't believe 5 months in and I haven't really had one good day, my consultant thought considering I'm young would have shaken this off by now but guess won't know for sure whats going on until I have the tests Tuesday. BTW a lot of people I've spoken to outwith this forum have mentioned that I should have had a CT scan and not an MRI as it shows up much much more.... whats everyone's thoughts on this? I'm now worrying a little that maybe there is something there which wasn't picked up.
I noticed something weird the other night, when I press my right ear just below the bony part attached ot your head I can feel noises in my ear, like my ear is blocking and then it feels full.. and its started getting sore since I keep playing with my ear!!! not surprisingly. I don't have this on my left side.. has anyone else got this.. its kind of weird!!
hope everyone is having dizzy free days... and Kathy good luck for tomorrow !!

Jen:
I knew you would be having another good phase. I find it a little interesting that in the UK and Australia they sem to tend to prescribe Amitriptyline over Nortriptyline. Would love to find out what the differences are. Just a little to leary about changing scripts right now. Well yesterday was about a 97%day and then started out the same this morning but by mid afternoon could feel myself slipping. Why! probably because it's suppose to rain again!
Did you order the CC? I did, what the heck and it is not suppose to be sedating. Personally I would like to be put to sleep until this whole thing is over with, just have a machine come in and make my head do all the movements it needs to do. I think I'm getting a little bit of PMS that always helps.
Anyway, thrilled about your great patch!!!!! A Pee Pee dance for you! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

Hi Littleone and Kathy
Littleone, I started to notice an improvement after the 4th or 5th week, so it wasn't quick! I take 12.5mg at night and I am soooo sluggish in the morning. That part doesn't seem to wear off with time. Once I'm up though it's fine. I feel a bit worse today but I think it's because I had a late night.
Kathy I haven't ordered the CC yet. Will get around to it.
Cheers
Jen
