View Full Version : Could they have been wrong?

I haven't gotten my period yet. My husband and I didn't use protection one night before the new year because I counted and I didn't think it would be during my fertile days. I could have been wrong.
Last week I went to the doctor for an unrelated reason. While I was there I asked if she could test me for pregnancy. It had been 3 days after I was supposed to get my period. She said the test was negative and asked if I wanted to do a blood test. I said that I didn't. I'm so afraid of needles. I always faint when they take blood. My question is, what is the likelyhood the test was wrong? It's been a week since that test and I still haven't gotten my period.

A urine test right after the period was supposed to start? Yes, it could have been wrong. The levels of HGC in your bloodstream might not have been high enough to detect yet. Probability? I can't say. If it's been a week since the test, try another test from the drugstore. First morning urine.
