I get really bad anxiety when I go over big bridges so bad I wont even go over them ever again people think I'm nuts maybe I am?theirs a big bridge 15 miles from me and there was this girl I like that lived on the other side of it and I decided not to see her cause of it.also any medical problem like the dentist etc I get really bad anxiety. I know I need a med but this only happens maybe 3 times a week .I feel really dumb going to a doc but I guess I have to.him not sure what to take for i just don't want anything thats addicting.

Let's see...I had a list of things I absolutely hated when I was at my worst:

1) Bridges, those big overpass things in particular
2) Escalators
3) Moving walkways
4) Long hallways
5) Interstates
6) Constant fear of a heart attack, lung cancer and all sorts of maladies

And the list goes on and on and on. I finally had to raise the white flag when I realized my anxiety had reached such a constant issue that I could no longer live my life.

I'm still not tackling that huge overpass in my area, but I'm 100% better on the rest. Therapy and appropriate medication.

Talk to your doctor. If he/she won't listen, get another. No reason why you need to live like this.
