View Full Version : Question about homemade ear drops

Hello ~

Has anyone here used an ear solution that you make yourself with either hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, or grapefruit seed extract?

I have some stuffiness and inflammation in my ear and Dr. prescribed Ciprodex Otic solution, but I read that it can cause headaches and dizziness (which I definitely do not need more of) and so I want to try an alternative preparation.

Thanks ~ http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

......."ear solution that you make yourself".....

Yes I did the hydrogen peroxide and then did the alcohol---to clean the ear(worked fine)---but not sure what the ciprodex otic solution is for---is that for cleaning--also.
