Hey everyone...

I just wanted to give an update on my situation. I was the one who has done about 10 months of at-home ozone treatments at least 2-3x/week or more. I also finished on Christmas 7 weeks of taking food-grade hydrogen peroxide 2x/day every day. Since then it's been a month and during that month I have been going in for treatments at a complimentary healthcare clinic. Three times per week I go there and get ozone autohemotherapy, IV H2O2, and a cocktail of vitamins and minerals IV and a heavy metal detox in the IV as well. I also take a combination of vitamins and minerals at home they told me to take.

Ok, so I am feeling much better in the last couple of days. From further research and trying to understand my symptoms I believe that I have not only HSV2, but also some other unknown vaginal condition that has very much the same symptoms as herpes. I believe the two started happening at roughly the same time, so it has been hard to distinguish the two. But now that I've come to this new outlook it would explain a lot. It would explain why no treatments seemed to be helping completely. Sure, the ozone stopped major OBs of numerous sores, but the daily redness, rawness and burning, and itching remained. I spoke with Terri Warren on webmd and she said it's likely I have something else going on as well like vulvodynia. She said that many times people attribute all their vaginal/genital symptoms to herpes when it can be multiple things going on. There are tons off vaginal conditions that most us know nothing about.

My conclusion is that I have not had a herpes OB in several months thanks to the vaginal insufflations I did on myself for approx 10-11 months, and maybe the oral H2O2 as well. Terri said herpes is intermmitant and so there must be something else going on with me since my symptoms have been daily for 3 years. The symptoms I continue to deal with, but which have been improving in the last few days as they are milder, is the daily soreness, burning and occasional sore on my labia. I am hopeful whatever vaginal condition I may have that the health care clinic I am going to will be able to address it by way of strengthening my immune system and getting my body back in balance and running optimally again. I have blood work that I am waiting for the results which might shed some more light. They believe my hormones and/or neurotransmitters might have problems.

I have been trying to remember the last time I actually had a large visual OB of sores and it was definitely since before I started doing ozone at home 10-11 months ago. I am now in the belief that that is the last time I had a herpes OB. The daily symptoms of soreness, redness, irritation, and occasional sore is some other type of vaginal condition. So if you are going thru a similar thing you ought to get tested for other things as well, not just believe it's the herpes causing all your symptoms.

I think it is interesting to hear that you probably have something else too. Hopefully it is something doctors can diagnose and treat and you will find great relief.

Thank you matter of time for your comments.

Each day I still feel better, even at night when usually the symptoms get worse. I of course was tested for bacterial infections when they were first trying to diagnose me 3 years ago. Since I had 3 negative blood tests for herpes, the doctors tested me for other genital and STD conditions, but all were negative. I've also had a CBC and other blood work recently and everything was negative. So I just kept believing it was just due to the herpes. But of course, since I haven't been officially diagnosed with anything else, one cannot be sure if it was not due to the herpes alone. However, Terri Warren has years of experience with herpes patients, so she has convinced me to see things differently and believe there's something else going on. She also advised I should get another herpes test because it took me 6 months to get a positive blood test for herpes back. So I do plan on doing that after I'm done with my alternative treatments. They said they wanted to test my viral load again anyway.

If it is vulvodynia, there's really not much they can do to test for it. It really just involves ruling out everything else it could be. Even then, traditional medicine does not have very clear cut full-proof ways of curing it as it's not bacterial. That's why I'm going to stick with alternative medicine treatments. I really am feeling SOOOO MUCH BETTER :). The soreness, redness and itching has greatly diminished. It's in a much smaller area and much milder. I just hope it keeps diminishing and doesn't come back.

Vulvadynia responds very well in many cases to Pelvic Floor therapy. The theory is the pelvic floor is out of line which causes blood flow deterioration to the area. It can be caused by injury to the back or buttocks, tension and bracing of the pelvic region (mainly from stress) and even by constipation.

I also know of several people that ceased their herpes outbreaks from taking 3grams of ascorbic acid (vit c) per day.

Thanks for the added info Cathy...
Is Pelvic Floor Therapy the same thing as biofeedback? I read about the later a little. For now I'm just going to stick with what I'm doing since it seems to be helping. I also read that vulvodynia can be caused by chronic yeast infections which I had for 15 years. I don't get them anymore either thanks to the regular vaginal insufflations I did on myself. I really think it's due to that. I'll have to do more research about vulvodynia and other types of conditions, but there are so many, sigh. During my alternative treatments they give me high doses of vit C in an IV, along with other vitamins and minerals like Vit B, magnesium, phosphate, zinc, etc. So that sounds good. Maybe I'm helping my body out in many ways, hopefully, since it costs a fortune and is very time-consuming! It's already been a month 3x/week. I'll likely do it for another month, depending on how well it's working. I'll keep everyone posted. The doctor, yes she is an MD, said some people will later test negative for herpes after 3-6 months of treatments...that's how long she says it usually takes for herpes.

Oceanus and Relentless, many thanks to you both for all your advice regarding ozone treatment. I do have a question: both of you mentioned using the Longevity generator, and that is way out of my budget. I've read some good things about Nature-Kleen, that it's the best of the "non-medical" devices and has been used successfully for insufflation (don't know about the funneling). Do you have an opinion about this?

Also, Oceanus, I, too, have more than one condition, and it's a challenge. I have lichen sclerosis (under good control), and am reasonably certain that I've got pudendal neuralgia with, among other symptoms, vulvodynia. Some people think the PN may have resulted from post-herpetic neuralgia, but I'm dubious since I've had herpes for 25 years with no serious problems from it at all. Now, of course, it does kick up because of the vulva inflammation. Some things that help: Peppermint tincture and oil (the oil may need to be diluted), Lemon Balm tincture, Propolys spray (very good) and when I'm pretty uncomfortable lots of ORGANIC (must be low-sulfite) red wine. Hope this helps.

Would appreciate your opinion on a lesser expensive generator--thanks!
