17 years ago suffered from stress of my new business. Stress caused anxiety and some depression. Therapy and deptran(doxepin) 225mg for 4-5 years.
Weened off meds by 2nd shrink who said it was too high and met my wife. Life changed all good. Still worried and anxious. Never went too far though

Had kids x 2. 2nd one was a worry but coped (they're close in age, it was hard to cope)

Holiday 5 years ago to beach and kids hated the beach! It sucked. I came home early purely because i couldn't relax. I was restless and anxious. Silly GP puts me on Avanza. Makes me 10 times worse.
Old shrink switches me back to deptran 50mg. I settle down. Drop to 25mg and stay on ever since.Holidays have never been the same though. I need to be close to home I think.

Last holiday at Christmas it all came back. I was worried about coping with work leading up to the holiday and continued to worry during holiday away(only 2 hrs from home). Now I can'tseem to put it out of my head. My Shrink has retired. My GP upped me back to 50mg and i'm seeing a counciller.
I'm getting hot flushes and panic attacks. Using Xanax for the panics but think the woozy feeling fro, ot gives me depression

Over the years I've read every book. every technique.

What to do next. Should my deptran be raised up. I know its not up to the therapeutic dose for depression but is it enough for anxiety.
