Hi Jen

sorry for not replying sooner. I have had the splint in since last friday afternoon. unfortunately it has co-incided with a stomache bug i have picked up so i haven't felt so great. my lower jaw has moved back a bit though and i go in again next tuesday to have it re-fitted. my neck is also sore and i'm wondering if my neck is playing havock with me??? my posture has never been great and its only through yoga that it has improved, but with the stress of my ear problems maybe i've made it more tense and now that is hindering me? apparantly there is a good tmj physio in south melbourne so i could check that out. do you find physio good and has it helped you and your neck?

my dentists name is Peter Varley and he has a web page so if you search on his name you should find it ok. I told him i might have another client for him and he said well wait and see if this works first. so lets wait and see.

Oh yes what is the name of the neuromuscular dentist? just in case.....

hope you are feeling ok.
cheers kippers

Hi Kippers

Thanks for the details. I've been absent from the board for a week because I was in Kuala Lumpur for work. I'm happy to report that the long haul flight did not affect my dizziness. In fact I am STILL in a good phase which must make it 4 weeks or so now. The longest I've had in a year.

Kippers, I'm afraid I don't remember the name of the neuromuscular dentist and I don't seem to have written the name down anywhere. I've looked everywhere!

I went onto your dentist's website and I was interested to see that he is a homeopathic dentist. I have never come across one of those before. Also, I have been toying with the idea of seeing a hypnotist to try and break the teeth-griding behaviour at night and I see he's into that sort of thing. I'll have to go and see him and have a chat.

Thanks again.

Jen
