I've been using this stuff called Medavir from Medavir.com. I hate to recommend it because I am not sure if I am hurting myself long term, but it is helping me. It contains this ingredient called stannous fluoride that is supposed to actually kill the virus. Dr. William J. Embro has done years of research on this ingredient. I am going to keep using it and hope I don't poison myself in the mean time.

I am having good success with medavir too. As far as safety I did ask my doctor and stannous flouride is supposed to be very safe, he told me there would be no problems anyway. I will keep you posted but I have noticed a big difference since using the medavir. Too early to tell if it is as good as the website says but I hope so:) and looks promising so far.

Yvonne just wanted to let you know the medavir really seems to be working well for me too. I thought the sores went away faster last time by several days but I have been really stressed out lately and I knew another one was coming. When an area on my inner thigh got red and started really itching and got real red (like was about to break out) I put the medavir on like 6 times a day and the area was red for about 2 days but I never had any sores come thru. I have never had that happen before and not taking my valtrex so it had to be the medavir. You can personal PM me if you have any questions but this a first for me (not having sores come thru)
I think the medavir really works-- YMMV but for me it really has so far. The website says now I should not have an outbreak for a long period of time so Ill keep you posted.

OK NOW I AM REALLY IMPRESSED With Medavir! it has been 3 months since I had an outbreak and I NEVER go that long without one. Yvonne how have things been since you were using the medavir? still good. I am sooo glad I took a chance an tried it. I hate to use the word cure because there is no cure for viruses but this might be really close:)

The medavir is still holding strong for me. One treatment with the medavir and I have been outbreak free 7 months now!!!!!!YAYYYYYYYYYYY

I just dont understand why my doctor did not know about medavir but who cares!!! I am just curious if Yvonne is still having great results too.

Yvonne if you are still there let me know if the medavir helped you too
